Key concepts & formulas
01
Common factor: pull out the greatest common monomial.
02
Grouping: pair terms with common factors.
03
Use identities a2b2,a2±2ab+b2a^2-b^2, a^2\pm 2ab+b^2.
04
Trinomial x2+(a+b)x+ab=(x+a)(x+b)x^2 + (a+b)x + ab = (x+a)(x+b).
